Profile

Within the Community, the author's name for each post (discussion, classroom story, etc.) links to his or her profile. The profile offers an opportunity to share personal and professional information with the Community.

The first time you log in, the system prompts you to edit your profile.

Change Your Password

At this point (or at any other time by clicking on the "My Profile" link on the sidebar), you may change your password.

Click on the "change your password" link.

Fill in the requested information and click "Submit."

Edit Your Profile

You may edit your profile information at any other time, by clicking on the "My Profile" link on the sidebar.

Click the "My Profile" link located in the sidebar. The following screen appears.

The profile always displays basic information, such as name and personal message. You can choose other items in your profile, such as your e-mail address or classroom information, to share with other members.

Basic Information

Verify that your name and e-mail address are correct.

Write a short, personal message that you would like others to read about you.

Secondary e-mail Address

When editing your profile, you may add a second e-mail address and/or choose the option "Show e-mail." This enables the system to show your e-mail address/es to other members.

NOTE: The e-mail address automatically placed in the first box is the address that you use to log in to the Community (i.e., your username). If you request that it be changed, remember to use your new address the next time you log into the Community.
